The amendment rezones the former Australian Road Research Board site at 490-500 Burwood Highway, Vermont South from the Transport Zone Schedule 4 to Residential Growth Zone Schedule 3. It also applies a new Design and Development Overlay (Schedule 6) and Significant Landscape Overlay (Schedule 10) to the land. Additionally, the amendment applies the Environmental Audit Overlay and Vegetation Protection Overlay (Schedule 5) to the land and incorporates two statements of significance at Clause 72.04.
